Gentlemen:
The attached revised Guidelines Governing Summer Sessions Operations supersede those issued on March 20, 1973 and are effective immediately.
The new Guidelines differ from the previous ones in that Sections 3 and 5 have been revised to clearly establish the Chancellor's authority to set Summer Sessions fees, to clarify the use of fee reductions and application fees, and to make clear that Summer Sessions deficits cannot be financed from State funds and Extension reserves.
