Responsibility for Approval and Preapproval of New Undergraduate Degree Programs
Under long standing practice, the President approves the establishment of new undergraduate degree programs after appropriate review and endorsement by the divisional Academic Senate and by the campus administration.
Effective immediately, this responsibility for final approval is delegated to you, subject to appropriate review and endorsement by the divisional Academic Senate and by the campus administration. In addition, the responsibility to preapprove the establishment of new undergraduate degree programs after appropriate review and concurrence is also delegated to you.
This authority may not be redelegated.
