Delegation of Authority--Exceptions to Management and Professional Program Personnel Policy 21.C.2, Terms and Conditions of Contract Appointments
Management and Professional Program Personnel Policy (MAP) 21.C.2 provides that contract appointments that are established at 50 percent time or more for a period of up to two years may not be extended beyond a total of 36 months of employment under contract.
Effective immediately, pursuant to the above MAP policy, you are authorized to grant exceptions to the 36-month limitation on the duration of contract appointments that are established at 50 percent time or more for a period of up to two years.
Any redelegation of this authority shall be in writing with copies to the Assistant Vice President--Human Resources and the Special Assistant--Coordination & Review.
