Delegation of Authority--Western Division of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Contract, Berkeley Campus

Pursuant to the President's authority in Standing Order 100.4(dd) to solicit and accept or execute grants and contracts, except those grants, contracts, or related documents that fall within the restrictions and limitations set forth in Standing Order 100.4(dd), a new contract was executed on August 24, 1994 from the Western Division of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in the amount of $25,000,000 for a period of four years commencing August 24, 1994 for a project entitled Fast-Track Environmental Clean-up: A Naval Air Station (NAS) Alameda-University of California Partnership, Berkeley campus.

Effective immediately, as Chancellor of the Berkeley campus you are authorized to solicit and execute any amendments, modifications, or renewals subsequent to the initial contract provided the general intent and purpose of the program remain unchanged from those originally approved on August 24, 1994.

Any redelegation of this authority shall be in writing, with copies to the Senior Vice President--Business and Finance, the Director--Coordination & Review, the General Counsel and Vice President for Legal Affairs, and the Secretary of The Regents.
