Delegation of Authority--University Extension Service Areas
Item 14 of the Guidelines Governing the Organization of University Extension, issued by Vice President McCorkle on June 2, 1971, states as follows:
The University Dean [responsibility now assigned to the Academic Vice President], after consultation with campus Deans, shall recommend to the President any changes in boundaries of campus Extension service areas.
Effective immediately, you are authorized, as Academic Vice President, to act for the President as set forth in the above Guideline.
You may wish to redelegate this authority to the Dean of University Extension Programs. Any redelegation of this authority must be in writing with copies provided to the Assistant President--Coordination and Review and the Secretary of The Regents.
