Delegation of Authority--Approval of Regulations and Procedures as Required by the Academic Personnel Manual
Various sections of the Academic Personnel Manual require Chancellors to submit implementing regulations and procedures to the President for approval. As Senior Vice President--Academic Affairs, you are delegated the authority to approve any such regulations or procedures, subject to restrictions specified in the Academic Personnel Manual. This authority is effective October 1, 1983; any redelegation of this authority shall be in writing with a copy to the Director--Coordination and Review.
This supersedes Vice President McCorkle's letter to Vice President Taylor of February 28, 1975 and the subsequent delegation to the Vice President--Academic and Staff Personnel Relations effective August 1, 1975, Approval of Implementing Procedures, Appeals--Non-Senate Academic Appointees.
