Delegation of Authority--Transfer, Consolidation, or Disestablishment of other Academic Units (Departments or Their Equivalents)

The attached Policy on Transfer, Consolidation, Disestablishment, and iscontinuance of Academic Programs and Units, issued September 19, 1979, provides in pertinent part as follows:

d. Decisions


ii) The final decisions on the intercampus transfer or consolidation, or on the disestablishment of other academic units, shall be made by the President upon consultation with the Universitywide Academic Senate and students as appropriate.

Effective immediately, pursuant to the above Policy, the President's authority for final action on campus recommendations for intercampus transfer or consolidation, or on the disestablishment of other academic units (departments or their equivalents) is delegated to you.

This authority may not be redelegated.
